Ricky L. Hopkins

Ricky L. "Hoppy" Hopkins 52 of Streetsboro died Sunday, December 19, 2010. He was born June 7, 1958 in Ravenna, Ohio to Jack D. Sr. and JoAnn (Rohrer) Hopkins. Hoppy was a truck driver for A & R Transport in Cleveland, enjoyed the outdoors, his Gold Wing and spending time with his extended family. Besides his parents of Atwater, he is survived by his wife Sandra (Drake), sister Melody Dubinsky of Edinburg, brother Jack (Tammy) Hopkins of Deerfield, 3 nieces Monica, Natalie & Abigail, 2 nephews Nick & Bill, step-daughter Yvonne (Scott) Brunswick of Rootstown, step-sons Martin(Kim) Jenior of Rootstown, Brian (Karen) Jenior and Patrick (Missy) Jenior both of Atwater, 7 step-grandchildren and Michael "Little Brother" (Sheila) Haney of Rootstown. He was preceded in death by his brother in law Bill Dubinsky. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Monday, December 27, 2010 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Friends will be received from 3:00 PM Monday until the time of services.
