Rita T. Kuchta

Rita T. Kuchta, 95, of Streetsboro, passed away Wednesday April 22, 2026 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born October 11, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James C. and Mary A. (Jandik) Knize. Mrs. Kuchta has lived in Streetsboro since 2011 and was formerly of Cleveland, where she worked as a cashier for Gillombardos Grocery Store. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Dan Kuchta on April 17, 2005 and her daughter Patience Kuchta. Survivors include her children James A. Kuchta, Michelle (Bill) Thomas, her grandchildren James, Simon, Nikki, Katylyn, her great grandson Danny and brother James Knize. Calling hours will be 2-4 Pm Sunday April 26, 2026 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel, where funeral services will be 10 AM Monday April 27, 2026 with Rev.
