Rita Varga (O'Brien) Robinson

Rita Varga Robinson, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at age 74.She was born in Mentor, Ohio on August 6, 1948 where she grew up. Her parents, William J. and Rita Mary (Arel) O'Brien both preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Barry Robinson, children Thomas (Christine)  Varga and James Varga, stepdaughter Jennifer J. (Chris) Carpenter, grandchildren Nicholas, Cooper, Abbygael, Molly, Brady, Brighton, Vivien and Simon and siblings Patty McGlynn and William O’Brien. Rita was a member of the Streetsboro Eagles where she spent time with her husband and friends. She worked as a nutritionist. Rita was an avid Cleveland Guardians fan and enjoyed reading, camping, and travel. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and loved them dearly. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 4pm to 7pm at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital which was an important charity to Rita.
