R. Scott Amos, Jr. of Stow passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Western Reserve Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was born June 12, 1964, in Parma, Ohio, to the late Robert S. Amos and Marilyn (Meyers) Solecki. Scott lived in Stow for the past four years and was formerly of Streetsboro. He was the Fleet Manager for Davey Tree at the Cleveland North and East locations. Scott was very happy to become a charter fishing captain on Lake Erie operating Kicking Back Charters and was a proud volunteer for Walleyes for Wounded Heroes. Survivors include his wife, Lisa A. (Shrewsberry) Amos whom he married September 13, 2008, sister Katherine (Terry) Ikerd, niece Kailey Ikerd, father- and mother-in-law Lee and Jane Shrewsberry, brother-in-law Shane Shrewsberry, sister-in-law Tammy Youngblood, nieces Cassandra Youngblood and Rachel Shrewsberry and nephews Timothy Shrewsberry, Matthew Youngblood and Nicholas Shrewsberry. In honoring Scott's wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11 AM followed by the memorial service at 12 Noon at the Ravenna Assembly of God Church (6401 State Route 14, Ravenna), with Rev. Gary Beck and Rev. Brad Edder officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Walleyes for Wounded Heroes at http://www.walleyesforwoundedheroes.com.
