Robert J. Carey 73 of Streetsboro died Thursday, October 17, 2013. He was born December 5, 1939 in Somerset Township, PA to the late John and Edna (Holiday) Carey. Robert was a US Army veteran , member of the Streetsboro American Legion #685 and Streetsboro VFW #9716, and had been a truck driver for Koltcz Block in Oakwood Village. Survivors include his wife Judy (Bonnette), sons John (Tina) Carey of Ravenna, Todd Carey of Shalersville, grandchildren Robert, David, and Jonathan Carey, stepsons Carl and Bobby Scheall both of Streetsboro and Craig Scheall of Shalersville and step-grandchildren Austin, Autumn, Jimmy, Carlie and Colton Scheall. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Dolores J. in 2004. There will be no calling hours or services, cremation has taken place. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel.
