Robert C. Croasmun

Robert C. Croasmun, 78 of Rootstown, passed away Monday July 29, 2019 at Aurora Manor Nursing Home.  He was born April 1, 1941 in Coalport, PA. to the late Clayton and Ruth (Dick) Croasmun.  Mr. Croasmun has lived in Rootstown the past 26 years and retired from Archway Cookies and after retirement he worked for the Rootstown Giant Eagle.  He was a member of St. Peter of the Fields Church in Rootstown, Ohio.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Martha J. Croasmun on April 3, 2017 and his brother Tom Croasmun.  Survivors include his children  Charles (Kara) Croasmun,  Bill (Sherry) Croasmun, his niece, whom he raised like a daughter,  Rebecca (David Trussell) Schaffer, Tina and Robin, his grandchildren Crystal, Jenna, Alex, Krystal (Alex), Olivia (Michael), Nicholas, His great grandchildren Bentley, Trinity, Scarlett, Ellie May and his brother John (Libby) Croasmun.  Calling hours will be Friday August 2, 2019 from 9:30 Am until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM with Father David Misbrenner officiating at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral  Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow in St. Peter of the Fields Cemetery Rootstown, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Robert may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
