Robert E. Desimio

Robert "Bob"  E. DeSimio 60 of Diamond, Ohio passed away Tuesday April 20, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born March 20, 1950 in Ravenna, Ohio to Louis and Marion (Sampson) DeSimio.  Mr. DeSimio has lived in Diamond since 1993 and was formerly of Ravenna.  He was a building inspector for the Summit Count Building department, a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna and was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam.  Survivors include his mother Marion DeSimio of Ravenna, son Chad (Jennifer) DeSimio of Streetsboro, daughter Megan DeSimio of Diamond, grandchildren Curtis, Marjorie, Ciara, Grace and brothers David DeSimio of Atwater and Richard DeSimio of Ravenna.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Thursday April 22, 2010 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday April 23, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Church Ravenna, Ohio with Fr. John Michael Lavelle Officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.
