Robert "Bob" J. Monroe

Robert J. Monroe, 79, of Ravenna, passed away Monday March 24, 2025 at his daughter’s home in Deerfield.  He was born August 2, 1945 in Ravenna, Ohio to late Ralph and Helen (Christy) Monroe.  Being a lifelong Ravenna resident, he was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Ravenna and was a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was a retired Tool and Die Area Manager for the Chrysler Corp in Twinsburg.  Survivors include his loving wife Joan (Damkov) Monroe, his children Matthew (Kathleen) Monroe, Tabitha “Meredith” Monroe, his step-children Michael Brna, Brian (Vivian) Brna, grandchildren Megan, Riley, Haleigh, Chris, Allyson, great grandson Aura, siblings Marilyn Porter, Marjorie Coia and Richard Monroe, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In honoring his wishes private family services will be held.  Condolences and memories of Robert may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
