Robert Hume Jones

Robert Hume Jones, 87, of Brady Lake, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 28,2013 at home in Brady Lake, Ohio. Robert was born June 13, 1925 in Ravenna, Ohio to the late Raymond and Cyble (Warner) Jones. Robert was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WW II in the South Pacific aboard the battleship USS New Mexico. He married Loretta Voll on September 2, 1949 and they moved to Brady Lake where they raised their family and lived for their entire married life. Robert retired from Conrail in 1987 after working 38 years for the railroad. In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife Loretta, sister Maxine (McMullen) and brother Jack. Survivors include sons Darmon (Janice) Jones of Oakdale, MN and Brent (Monica) Jones of Brady Lake, OH; , and daughter Jill (Louis) Sloey of Bay City, TX; grandchildren Lia (Armando) Bastida, Brent (Kristen) Jones, Jr., Aubrey Jones, Rae-Lin Jones, great grandchildren Austin, Benjamin, Kyra, Vincent and many other dear family members, neighbors and friends.
