Robert "Robbie" D. Richards 55 of Garrettsville, Ohio passed away Sunday October 2, 2016 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna with his family by his side. He was born July 26, 1961 in Cleveland to the late James Richards and Nancy (Runk) Booterbaugh. He has lived in Garrettsville the past year and was formerly of Mantua. Mr. Richards owned and operated AES Garage Doors in Garrettsville and was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. He was a loving and devoted husband to Cynthia (McCune) Richards whom he married June 11, 1983, loving son to Nancy Booterbaugh of Altoona, PA, loving and devoted father to Susan Mendia of Phoenix, AZ., Ashley (John) Goad of Mantua, Elizabeth Richards of Mantua, Mary (Johnny Skala) Richards of Garrettsville, Robert D. Richards, II of Garrettsville, Ohio, loving grandfather to Ashleigh Goad, Makenzie Mendia and brother to Terri, James Richards and Mike Richards. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Melvin Richards. Calling hours will be from 2-8 PM Thursday October 6, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Friday October 7, 2016 at St. Joan of arc Church in Streetsboro. At his request, cremation will follow the services.
