Robert G. Shellhorn

Robert G. Shellhorn 77 of Rootstown passed away Monday November 8, 2010 at Akron City Hospital.  He was born July 18, 1933 in Brimfield, Ohio to the late Howard and Marjorie (Rerick) Shellhorn.  Mr. Shellhorn has lived in Rootstown since 1962 and was a retired machinist from the Circle Mold and Machine in Tallmadge.  He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Korean War, was a member of the Ravenna American Legion Post 331 and a lifetime member of the Ravenna VFW Post 1055.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Vera in 1994, survivors include his daughter Rebecca Price of Rootstown, grandchildren Kristen, Erica, Cory, Amanda, Zack, great grandchildren Desiree, John and sister Virginia Partin of Muncie, Indiana.  Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday November 12, 2010 at Grandview Memorial Park Ravenna, Ohio with Rev. Vernon White officiating. Funeral services entrusted to Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.
