Robert J. Spence

Robert J. Spence, Sr., 73 of Streetsboro died Thursday, October 2, 2014. He was born July 18, 1941 in Delbarton, WV to Okey and Audra (Davis) Spence. Mr. Spence was a member of the Streetsboro Church of Christ and loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandkids. He worked as a welder at L & L Fabrication in Streetsboro and was the owner of Gas Town and Alabama Wheels in Streetsboro. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Mary F. (Lea), daughter Diane Shovestull of Kent, sons Bobby Jr. (Shelly) and Darrell (Becky) both of Streetsboro, grandchildren Megan, Logan, Miranda, Madison, Joe and Anna, sister Cleo Wiant of Painesville and brothers Hoover Spence of Mentor and Mayo Spence of Paris Township. He was preceded in death by his parents and son in law Gary Shovestull. Calling hours will be held from 2 PM to time of services at 6 PM Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Ralph Price will officiate.
