Roger L Martin

Roger L. Martin, 72 of Streetsboro passed away Monday January 14, 2019 at the Hospice Care Center in Akron.  He was born June 26, 1946 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Charles and Estelle (Pendleton) Martin Shaw.  Mr. Martin retired from  the Norfolk Railroad where he was a car knocker.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Marine Corp.  He was a proud member of the Streetsboro American Legion Post 685 and the Streetsboro  VFW Post 9716.  Survivors include  his wife Kristen (Kanieski) Martin whom he married August 30, 2006, his children  Jeff (Tracie) Martin, Patrick (Alisa) Martin, Lisa (Rik) Roberts, six grandchildren, siblings Wayne Martin, Kyle Martin, Connie Laymon, Cindy Jadud, Ron Shaw and his feathered friend companion Biggie .  At Roger's request cremation has taken place.  Private family services have been held at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.  Condolences and memories of Roger may be shared at www.sscfuneralhomes.com
