Roger L. McCauley 54 of Ravenna, a lifelong Portage County resident, died Friday, February 25, 2011. He was born December 28, 1956 in Ravenna to Carrol and Clara Mae (Lloyd) McCauley. Roger enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Survivors include his mother Clara Mae, longtime companion Bonnie Hundzsa, daughters Shauna McCauley and Casey McCauley, sons Derick McCauley, Aaron Hundzsa and Dustin Hundzsa, 13 grandchildren, sisters Doris (Mike) Crago, Martha (Ron), Joyce Lapushansky, Marna (John) Terlecky, Donna (Tom) Jones, Terry (George) Clegg, Karen (Roger) Bennett, Rosie Bryant, Rita Hunyady and Brenda (AJ) Cossin and brothers Jerry, Marvin and Ronnie McCauley. He was preceded in death by his father, sister Sherry and a brother Robert McCauley. Memorial calling hours will be held from 5 to 7:30 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel with a memorial service at 7:30 PM Wednesday. Reverend William Snyder will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family c/o Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, OH 44266.
