Roland "Ron" F. Peters

Roland “Ron” F. Peters, 90 of Mantua, Ohio passed away Friday, July 17, 2020. He was born July 23, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late William and Sybil (Curtis) Peters.  Ron (aka Pete) was a gifted mechanic and could fix anything.  He loved antique cars, big band music, roller skating, and most of all loved his wife, Nellie “Marie” (Brown), the love of his life.  They shared 63 years together. He was the beloved father of Debbie (Gary) Pollack and Dianna (Dave) McGunigal, loving Papaw of Jessyca (Jason) Brereton and Ashley (Darren) Stursa, and great grandfather of Rylie Rich, Tyler Rich, Audrey Stursa and Olivia Brereton.  Preceded in death by three sisters, Betty (Harold) Rieske, June Mislosky, Alice Peters and 3 brothers, Lawrence (Ethel) Peters, Ray (Edith) Peters and Howard (Ann) Peters. Survivors also include many nieces and nephews.  Private family services were held at Westlawn Cemetery in Mantua, Ohio.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.  Arrangements were entrusted to Shorts, Spicer, Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
