Ronald J Decavitch

Ronald J. DeCavitch, 82 of Streetsboro passed away Wednesday August 1, 2018 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  He was born July 16, 1936 in Warren, Ohio to the late Joseph and Bertha (Gurman) DeCavitch.   Ronald has lived in Streetsboro since 1964 and had retired  in 1994 from Ford Motor Company  in Walton Hills, Ohio.  He enjoyed golfing and was  an avid sports fan.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded  in death by his wife Carol Jean in 1993 and his siblings Joanne Hall and Joe DeCavitch.  Survivors include his children , Ronald (Melissa Newsome) DeCavitch of Streetsboro, Jeanne (Stanley) Zack of Shalersville, Donald (Cheryl) DeCavitch of Streetsboro, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Ronald's request for cremation is being honored by his family and private family services have been held.  Condolences and memories of Ronald may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
