Ronald E. (Rod) Holloway

Ronald E. "Rod" Holloway 62 of Ravenna died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Louis Stokes Veterans Medical Center in Cleveland. He was born January 9, 1950 in Montgomery, AL to Roman E. and Waverlene (Smith) Holloway. Rod was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the Ravenna American Legion and worked as a carpenter. He is survived by his sisters Patricia (Denny) Wiley of Grandy, NC and Connie (David) Leadbetter of Ravenna, brothers Robert (Patti) Holloway of Brimfield and Johnny Holloway of Rootstown and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Carl Evans, brothers Donald and Steven Holloway, nephew Jason Holloway and niece Denise Wiley. Cremation has taken place. A memorial gathering will be announced at a later date. Burial will be in Homeland Cemetery in Rootstown. Condolences may be expressed at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
