Ronald S Taylor

Ronald S. Taylor, 62, of Akron, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at his residence.  He was born in Ravenna on December 25, 1952 to the late Earl and Hattie Mae (Hicks) Taylor and lived most of his life in Ravenna.  He worked for St. Louis Steel and the Oak Rubber Company and was a member of New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Reynolds and brothers; Edward Taylor, Gerald Taylor, and Donald Taylor.  He is survived by his daughters; Lacey Taylor of Virginia, Lori Loftin of California, and Ronnesha Taylor of California, son Rodney Loftin of Kent, 6 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Also surviving are one sister, Catherine Brown, brothers; Bernard Taylor, Victor Taylor, and Rick Taylor, and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 19 at 12:00PM at New Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 6728 Adams Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266 with Rev. B.J. Grant officiating.  Friends may call at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service.
