Rose M. (Biondo) Delong

Rose M. DeLong who celebrated her 98th birthday in June passed away on September 30, 2017.  She was a dedicated mother and loved her family.  She was a lifelong resident of Ravenna Ohio, and devoted member of Immaculate Conception Parish.  Rose worked for both Ravenna High School and Kent State University for many years.  Preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Joseph Biondo; and husband Charles F. Delong, Jr. brother James Biondo and sister Antonina Biondo: grandson Charles F. DeLong IV and great granddaughter Aubrey DeLong Clafin; she is survived by children Charles F. DeLong III (Susan Post DeLong) and Catherine R. DeLong; grandchildren Katey (Hannah) DeLong (Joseph Melesky) and Ellen DeLong Santa Maria (Patrick Santa Maria); and her beloved sister Nancy Biondo Litten. Rose also had many nieces and nephews and cousins who loved "Aunt Rose". Memorial calling hours will be at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N.  Meridian St. Ravenna Ohio, Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 8:30 AM- 9:50 AM.
