Rose Marie (Gurtatowski) Williams

May 13, 1937 — October 11, 2013

Rose Marie Williams 76 of Streetsboro passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at her home. She was born in Scranton, PA to the late Ralph and Pearl (Oleckna) Gurtatowski. Rose worked for Scott Molders for 30 years till she retired. She attended St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, was a member of Golden mike CB club and was known as the "Yellow Rose". She enjoyed going to the casinos, fishing, playing bingo, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 60 years, Jack Williams, her children, Barb (Hugh) Barker of FL, Jack (Melissa) Williams Jr. of Streetsboro, Lori (James) Rabbitt of Mantua, sister, Pauline T. Garlen of AL, 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded by her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Williams, sister Helen Hardin, and brother, Eddie Gurtatowski. Calling hours will be held from 6- 8 PM Thursday October 17, 2013 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 18, 2013 , at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery following the service. The family would like to give a special Thank You to all the staff at Robinson Hospice for their care and support. Memorial donation can be made to Robinson Hospice in Rose's name.
