Rose E. (Macek) Dzurinda

Rose E. Dzurinda, 86 of Streetsboro passed away Thursday December 14, 2017 at her home.  She was born in Sharon, PA. on February 5, 1931 to the late John and Mary (Rupert) Macek.  Rose has lived in Streetsboro since 1994 and was formerly of Sharon, PA.  After many years working as a retail manager, she retired from Big Lots Store in Hermitage, PA.  After she moved to Streetsboro she had worked at the Streetsboro Wal-Mart.  She enjoyed dancing especially ball room and polka dancing.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George Dzurinda on March 16, 1997 and six brothers.  She leaves to cherish her  memory are her sons Daniel (Susan) Dzurinda , Richard (Beverly) Dzurinda, numerous nieces and nephews and her twin sister Mary Ghizzoni.  At her request, cremation has taken place and private family burial services will be held at a later date.  Condolences and memories of Rose may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
