Rosemary F. (Ford) Bayley Smith

Rosemary F. Bayley Smith, 97, of Ravenna passed away Monday January 22, 2018 at her home.  She was born May 1, 1920 in Ravenna to the late Charles and Kathryn (Wonn) Ford.  Rosemary  has lived in Ravenna most of her life and retired from the Norton Company which is now St. Gobain.  She attended the Ravenna Senior Center and was involved with the Red Hatters and the Girl Scouts.  She is survived by her children David E. (Margaret) Bayley, Linda E. (Riley) Moore, her grandchildren Jan Bayley, Chris (Steven) Retherford, Anita (Scott) Coleman, Sarah Moore, Michael Moore and her great grandchildren  Elyse  Retherford, Luke Retherford , Michael Coleman and Anna Hauser.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Homer Bayley , Paul Smith, four brothers and two sisters.   Calling hours will be Thursday January 25, 2018 from 4-7PM and on Friday  January  26, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral services at 11:00 AM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family asks that memorial donations please be made to the Portage County APL  8122 Infirmary Rd.
