Rosemary (Havrilla) Laskos

Rosemary Laskos 91 of Rootstown passed away Saturday August 30, 2014 at Bonnie's Home Health Care in Rootstown.  She was born August 29, 1923 in Akron, Ohio to the late John and Elizabeth (Havrilla) Halaiko.  Mrs. Laskos was a lifelong resident of Rootstown and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Ravenna.  Survivors include her children  Stanley (Janet) Laskos, John (Char) Laskos, Susie Mathia, Dan (Sue) Laskos, 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren with two on the way.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Laskos, Sr. in August of 2000, two brothers and two sisters.  Private family services will be held at St. Mary Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Bonnie's Home Healthcare, Roses Rescue in Rootstown or the APL of Portage County.
