Rosemary L. (Lay) Scott

Rosemary L. Scott, 97 of Aurora, Ohio went home to the Lord on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at the Aurora Manor Nursing Home.  Rosemary was a lifelong believer in Jesus Christ, and she was born November 25, 1923 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Elmer T. and Estella (Hinton) Lay.  Mrs. Scott has lived in the Mantua and Streetsboro areas since 1963 and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Streetsboro. She had worked as a RN for Robinson Memorial Hospital and had retired from Dr. Bartholomew's office.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband Curtiss Scott in 1990, her son Curtis Thomas Scott and sisters Evelyn and Dorothy.  Survivors include her children Kirby (Mark) Brower, Mark (Clare) Scott, daughter in law Terri Scott, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  At her request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.  Condolences and memories of Rosemary may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
