Our loving angel here on earth, was called home to now be one of the Lord's angels, Rosemary (Rose) Butcher 63 of Mantua passed away Thursday, May 30, 2024 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born October 5, 1960 in Beckley, WV to William and Mary (Brewster) LeGrand. Rose was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Rose was a member of God's Church in Ravenna, where her faith in the Lord was a true blessing to us all. Rose enjoyed the simple things in life, she enjoyed cooking and caring for her family, her family was everything to Rose, especially during the holidays and tending to her chickens. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Terry Butcher, children Melisa O'Neil and Terry Benjamin (Ben) Butcher, grandchildren Chasity Rose Butcher, Stephen B. O'Neil III and Gianna Belle O'Neil and siblings William (Judy) LeGrand, Robert (Amy) LeGrand and Marty Joe (Kathy) LeGrand, sister in laws Renee Richardson, Licia (Pat Hathway) Butcher, mother in law Ruth Knepper, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and her church family. Rose was preceded in death by her parents and father in law Franklin Butcher. Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2024 and from 10 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or Children of Hunger.
