Russell W. Andrews

Russell W. Andrews 75 of Ravenna passed away Sunday February 20, 2011 at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio. He was born September 29, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late Donald and Frances (Boltz) Andrews, Sr.   Mr. Andrews has lived in Ravenna since 1986 and was formerly of Cuyahoga Falls.  He retired from the Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg where he worked as a welder repairman.  He was a member of the U.A.W. #122 out of Twinsburg.  Survivors include his wife Mildred (Donley) Andrews whom he married in 1983, sons Michael Andrews, Robert Andrews, daughter Debra Andrews all of Akron, step sons Donald (Penny) Barnhart, Jr of Wadsworth, Timothy (Julie) Barnhart of Streetsboro, step daughters Linda (Jim) Blankenship of Tennessee, Star (Leo) Drouhard of Ravenna, 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, brothers Wayne, Daniel, Fred Andrews all of Akron.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Donald, Jr., David, Jack and Dennis Andrews.  Calling hours will be 6-8 PM Tuesday February 22, 2011 at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel where funeral services will be held 11:00 Am Wednesday February 23, 2011 with Pastor Cyndie Rogers officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery Ravenna, Ohio.  Condolences may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com .
