Russell W. Bennett

Russell W. Bennett 58, of Sharon, Pa. formerly of Windham passed away Wednesday June 27, 2012 at the Sharon Regional Hospital following natural causes.  He was born December 28, 1953 in Rochester, Pa. to Russell B. and Rosa L. (Morris) Bennett.  He had worked at Samuel Moore and Donnie's gas station and was a 1972 graduate from Windham High School.  He is survived by his mother Rosa Bennett, his sons Jason Purdy, Aaron Bennett, brother D. Roy Carpenter and his sisters Mellany Wooten and Linda Balzer.  He was preceded in death by his father Russell B. and his sister Barb Blewitt.  There will be no calling hours, cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Monday July 2, 2012 at the First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge.  The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel to help with expenses.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
