Russell S. Rushnok 44 of Shalersville died Sunday, August 20, 2017 due to complications from cancer. He was born August 28, 1972 in Cleveland, Ohio to Richard T. and Roberta A. (Kanaval) Rushnok. Russell had worked for Aurora Auto Wash for many years. Survivors include his grandmother Alexandria Schuster, siblings Angela Huth, Ronald Rushnok and Rick (Marlene) Rushnok and nieces and nephews Ashley, Alexis, Amelia, Nicholas, Kathryn and Shawn. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial calling hours will be from 2 - 4 PM Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Sunday with Rev. William Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Streetsboro in a private ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family in care of Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home, 141 N. Meridian Street, Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
