Ruth Ann Ackerman

Ruth Ann Ackerman, 86, of Ravenna, passed away Thursday march 5, 2026 at the UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio. She was born October 14, 1939 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Walter Nedved and Evelyn (Brower) Williams. Mrs. Ackerman has lived in Ravenna the past 26 years and was formerly of New Philadelphia, Ohio. She was a shoe salesman for Nobles and then Endicott Johnson. She really enjoyed a good cup of coffee and loved going to casinos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Lee Ackerman. Survivors include her daughter Brenda Lee (Lonnie) West, grandson Michael (Michelle) West and great grandchildren Evelyn and Asher West.
