Ruth E. (Foltz) Starkey

Ruth E. Starkey 88 of Ravenna died Sunday, August 9, 2015. She was born September 18, 1926 in Selinsgrove, PA to Paul and Annie (Groner) Foltz. Ruth was a member of the First Congregational Church UCC in Rootstown where she was active in Women's Fellowship and was a member of the Ravenna Order of the Eastern Star. She had worked on the assembly line at Lamb Electric, worked for the Social Security Administration and for Purolator Company. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing and bowling. Survivors include her son Jim Natcher of Lakeside, AZ, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Max Starkey, daughter in law Maria Natcher, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to time of services at 12 PM Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the First Congregational Church UCC, 4022 State Route 44 in Rootstown with Reverend Susan Woodall officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the First Congregational Church UCC, PO Box 127, Rootstown, OH 44272 or Robinson Memorial Hospice, 6847 N. Chestnut Street, Ravenna, OH 44266.
