Ruth V. (King) Thomas-Workman

Ruth V. Thomas-Workman 90 of Charlestown Township, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017. She was born December 20, 1926 in Rachael, WV to Charles and Zanna (Grable) King. Ruth was a member of the Ravenna Assembly of God Church and worked as a Cook for Kent State University for 30 years. Survivors include her children Linda (Al) Schroeder of Waveland, MS, Ronald L. (Pat) Thomas of Charlestown and Dennis Thomas of Shalersville, step children Omar Workman Jr. and Ronald Workman, 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren and a brother William King of Ravenna. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Joseph Thomas in 1983 and Omar Workman in 2009. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to time of services at 12 Noon on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Ravenna Assembly of God, 6401 State Route 14, Ravenna, OH 44266 with Pastor Gary Beck officiaitng. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Ravenna Assembly of God or St. Judes Children's Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
