Ruth Anna (Shook) Ice

Ruth Anna Ice 63 of Edinburg died suddenly at her home Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was born October 16, 1947 in Akron to the late, Glenn Curtiss and Violet (Schnabel) Shook.  She has been a State Tested Nurses aide since 1996 at Alliance Community Hospital. Ruth and her husband, lived and served at Camp Carl Ministries for 22 years.  Survivors include her loving husband, Kenneth Ice whom she married December 3, 1966, children, Lori Marie Ice of Edinburg, David (Chanda) Ice of North Benton, OH, Michelle Ice , Kari (Doug) Ford both of Edinburg, grandchildren, Kara, & Mark Beck, Danielle, & Jacob Ice, Douglas, & Kyla Ford. Ruth went home to be with the Lord, her parents, and her brother John Shook.  Memorial Calling hours will be held from2-4 PM Friday, September 9, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Family will continue with a time of Fellowship at the Edinburg Town Hall.  In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family for Camperships at the Camp Carl Ministries.
