Ruth C (Stoltz) Miller

Ruth C.  Miller went home to the loving arms of God on November 30, 2024 at the age of 93.  She was born on August 20, 1931, in St. Augustine, Pennsylvania.  She was office manager at both Andrews Moving and R. W. Sidley during her years of employment.  She was joined in marriage to George F. Miller, Sr., on June 19, 1948, in St. Augustine, PA.  Together, they raised eleven children.  Ruth was active as a religious education instructor at St. Helen, Newbury, Ohio.  Ruth and George raised their children primarily in Burton, Ohio and then moved to West Lafayette, Ohio, in 1993 and then to Streetsboro, Ohio, in 2003.

Ruth is pre-deceased by her loving husband George, 3 sisters, and 5 brothers.    She is also pre-deceased by two of the children, George Jr. and Cathyrn Lambert, and other family members.

She is survived by one sister, and children: Raymond (Rose) Miller, Wisconsin, Patricia (Donald) Turk, Ohio, Norman (Christine) Miller, Ohio, Constance Malencore, Ohio, Nancy Centric, Ohio, Dorothy (John) Szoka, Ohio, Alice (Les) Lickers, Florida, Dwight (Amy) Miller, Pennsylvania, and Lynda (Curt) Shaffer, Florida. She is further survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and other relatives.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on December 13, 2024, at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, 9781 Page Road, Streetsboro, Ohio.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm, on December 14, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church, 340 North Main St, Hudson, Ohio.  Ruth will be buried beside George, in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio, following cremation, at a later date.
