Salvator R. Fiorentino 85 of Streetsboro, passed away Saturday March 5, 2011 at the Woodlands at Robinson in Ravenna, Ohio. He was born June 22, 1925 in Wellsville, Ohio to the late Saverio and Anna (Spagnola) Fiorentino. He has lived in Streetsboro the past 55 years and retired from Chrysler Stamping Plant in Twinsburg where he worked as a small press operator. Mr. Fiorentino was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro, was twice post commander of the Streetsboro American Legion post 685, Streetsboro K of C, the Parma DAV and the 40 & 8 society. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in WW II. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Roseann (Carney) Fiorentino, sons Ray (Cathi) Fiorentino of Ravenna, Sam Fiorentino, Jr. of Tallmadge, Carl (Sue) Fiorentino of Aurora, Philip (Faye) Fiorentino of Streetsboro, Michael (Jeanette) Fiorentino of Streetsboro, grandchildren Angela, Nichole, Angela Content, Christin, Joseph, Stephanie, Nicholas, six great grandchildren, brother Armond Fiorentino of Aurora, sister Isabella LaBello of Parma, nephews Samuel (Barbara) Fiorentino of Aurora, Richard LaBello of Alabama, Charles LaBello of Cleveland and niece Anna Marie McDonald of Walton Hills. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, grandson Carl II, brothers Anthony, Joseph and Carl. Calling hours will be TODAY Monday March 7, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday March 8, 2011 at St. Joan of Arc Church Streetsboro, Ohio. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.
