Samuel J. Smith

Samuel J. Smith, Jr. 33 of Rootstown passed away Saturday  July 30, 2011.  He was born May 19, 1978 in Akron, Ohio to Samuel and Sandy (Bever) Smith, Sr.   He has lived in Rootstown the past five and half  years  and was employed for local 219 as a pipefitter.  He was a veteran of the US Army.  Survivors include his wife Kami (Stephens) Smith,  his children Gavin Alexander, Alana Mae, Lily Ann, , step-daughters  Kailey, Maleigha, his parents  Samuel and Sandy Smith, Sr. of Green , his brother  Michael Smith, sister in law Kara Stephens and In laws Marsha (Charles) Robinson of Rootstown.  Calling hours will be   Wednesday 4 PM until time of funeral services at 7 PM at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Burial and military honors will take  place at 11:00 Am Thursday  August 4, 2011 at Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery  Rittman, Ohio.  Memorial Contributions for his children can be made at Chase Bank c/o the Kami Smith Account.
