Sandra L. (Winkler) Brode

Surrounded by her loving family, Sandra Brode went to be with Jesus on January 10, 2020.  She is now reunited with her husband of sixty years, Deacon Russell Brode.  Sandra was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception in Ravenna where she regularly volunteered her service.  Born October 2, 1934, Sandra was a graduate of Ravenna High School and lived her entire life in the Ravenna area. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, participating in Young at Heart, crocheting, bus trips, and watching Cleveland sports. In addition to her husband, Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Margaret Winkler, and her sister, Shirley Fox.  She is survived by her sister, Donna Jenkins, her children, Kathy (John) McHugh of Sandwich, IL, David (Tommie Jo) Brode of Stow, Dennis Brode of Bellbrook, Robert (Liz) Brode of Austintown, Russell Brode of Portage Lakes, Kim Paull of Uniontown, PA, Linda(Bob) Corcoran of Mansfield, 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, and countless friends. Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm on Monday at Immaculate Conception Church.  The funeral mass will be on Tuesday at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to consider a donation to Immaculate Conception Parish.
