Sarah F (Mccormick) Ashburn

Sarah F. Ashburn, 85 of Streetsboro, Ohio, passed away Wednesday September 27, 2023 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna, Ohio.  On June 9, 1938 in Tango, West Virginia, she was born to the late Fred L. and Cory Mae (Kincaid) McCormick.  Living in Streetsboro the past 59 years, Mrs. Ashburn enjoyed being a homemaker, taking care of her family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bud B. Ashburn in 1983, her fiancé' Dale Kiser in 2019, three sisters and five brothers died previously. Survivors include her children Bruce K. (Charlene) Ashburn, Ken (Joyce) Ashburn, Carmelita Leo, Greg Kiser, Claudine (Tom) Gillette David Kiser, Kerry Kiser, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and brother Darryl McCormick.   Calling hours will be Tuesday October 3, 2023 from 12 PM until time of services at 1:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel, with Pastor Jeff Taurig Officiating.  Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery Streetsboro, Ohio.  Memories and condolences for Sarah may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
