Scot W. Collins, Sr. 54 of Kent passed away Saturday July 30, 2016 at University Hospitals in Cleveland. he was born October 14, 1961 Ravenna, Ohio to the late James and Shirley (McClintock) Collins. Mr. Collins has worked a carpenter for several different companies. Survivors include his children Scott (Leah) Collins, Jr. of Akron, Tasha Collins of Ravenna, Ohio Amanda Krajacic of Clearwater, Florida, his loving companion of 20 years Theresa Zeller, five grandchildren, two sisters and two brothers. Calling hours will be Thursday August 4, 2016 from 12 noon until time of services at 1:00 PM at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. At his request, cremation will follow the services. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home for help with expenses.
