Scott Strunk

Scott Strunk 49 of Streetsboro passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1970 in Albany, GA to Paul and Rebecca (Auber) Strunk. Scott was contracted through K force on the expansion project for University Hospitals on the vision 2010 team. Some of his greatest accomplishments there were the coordination of the technology at Ahuja, the Seidman Center, and most importantly the work he did to upgrade the NICU. He had attended St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro. Survivors include his parents, his wife Katie Scott (Murray), children Sarah Walker, Kristyn Strunk, Savannah Walker, Shana Walker and Scotty Strunk. 6 grandchildren, Liyana, Isaiah, Adrianna, Leila, Mia and Dominyck, and siblings David and Joseph Strunk. He was preceded in death by his son Adam Strunk and grandparents, Adam and Grace Strunk and Harold and Gwen Jones. Calling hours will be from 9 AM until time of funeral mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro with Father Chris Luoni officiating. Entombment will be at 2:30 PM in Brooklyn Heights Cemetery in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to St. Jude's Children’s Research Hospital.
