Shawn Tyler Spade

Shawn Tyler Spade 32 of Ravenna passed away Thursday April 16, 2015.  He was born June 17, 1982 in Warren, Ohio.    Tyler attended Ravenna schools and in 2002 graduated from Life Skills Center of Akron, Ohio.  He is self employed and attended the Water Street Church in Kent.   Tyler enjoyed and loved his family and friends.  He loved going to the gym being an active member of Planet Fitness  in Kent and loved to dance, fish, drawing and music.   His family  and friends will forever cherish the love that he had for them and his giving heart.  He never knew a stranger, he was always willing to help and volunteer.  Tyler always had a smile  for you and loved making people laugh and being a comedian.  Survivors include his mother Sonia Spade and father Bill Smith, his daughter Serenity Lee Marie Spade, his fiancé  Jackie Chicko and her sons Ayden and Avery, his brother Will "B.J." Smith his fiance Patty McKenzie and their children Ariel, Kiana, Malachi and Liam, grandparents Jim and Lilly Spade, Allen Egbert and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents Dorothy Egbert, William and Lucille Smith, his aunt Karol Spade Oborn and uncle Rich Klimszak.   Calling hours will be Saturday April 25, 2015 from 1:00 PM until time of services at 4:00 PM at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Ravenna Chapel with Rev. James Holbrooks officiating.  Private family burial will be at a later date.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home 141 N. Meridian St. Ravenna, Ohio 44266 for expenses.
