Sheldon Eugene Kuhns

Sheldon Eugene Kuhns 69 of Kent passed away peacefully on Monday, January 28, 2019. He was born October 6, 1949 in East Freedom, PA to David and Wanda (Sensebaugh) Kuhns. Sheldon was a hard working man who retired from Bluff City Steel. He was a member of the Ravenna Moose and Ravenna Eagles, and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and playing the lotto at Stow Acme. Survivors include his daughters Darla (Frank) Dixon and Merry (Justin) Adkins, grandchildren Ashley-Jo, Briana, Ada, Joe, Pvt. Christian, Haley and Destiny, great grandchildren Tristan II, Ryan, Chase Jr, Maylynne and Zhyree Kuhns and siblings Bev Fleshman, Tammy Smith and Ray Kuhns. After the passing of his brother Buck, Sheldon became a father figure to his nephew Troy (Vicki) Kuhns and Melissa (Chris) Coulbourne. Sheldon also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandson Zhyree Kuhns, his parents and brothers Dick, Harry "Buck" and Thomas Kuhns. Calling hours will be from 5 PM until time of sharing at 7 PM Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Cremation will follow the service.
