Shirley A (Krupka) Owens

Shirley Ann Owens born on March 21, 1938, and passed away on Tuesday June 20th. Shirley was born in Pennsylvania to her late parents George and Emma Krupka. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Delbert (Red) Owens.

Shirley was a very loving and caring wife and the most amazing Mother in the world.  She gave her time as a Volunteer to Beta Sorosis of Ravenna and University Hospital in Ravenna whenever she could.    She loved reading and playing cards and especially playing word chums on her tablet. She was also a life-long Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  She spent a lot of time on the phone keeping up with a multitude of friends and family.   She could always be counted on for sage advice and interesting happenings.  Everyone that met Shirley was a new friend and her neighbors all around kept tabs on her.  She was well loved in the neighborhood.   Shirley leaves behind their three children Eric and wife Beth Owens, Tamara and husband Jim Logan, Douglas and wife Jen Owens.  Six grandchildren Ryan, who preceded her in death, Jason, Drew and wife Mary, Katlin and husband Matt, Jack, Mason and 5 great grandchildren, Luke, Kathryn, Bridget, Claire, Elizabeth and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind, her Brother Joseph Krupka, Sisters, Virginia Croyle, Carol Albertelli, Barbara Meden, Debra Miller and brother George (deceased) Per her request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
