Shirley E (Mayo) Lee

Shirley E. Lee, 88 of Ravenna, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at the UH Portage Medical Center. Shirley was born on June 8, 1936 in Weston, West Virginia to her late parents Virgil and Sophronia (Doak) Mayo. She had worked as an operator, retiring from the Ohio Bell and also worked as a hostess at East Park. Shirley was a member of the Portage Community Chapel in Ravenna. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Richard V. Corathers whom passed on September 19, 1976 and Gerald Lee whom passed on July 17, 2019, and her siblings William Mayo, Arden Mayo, Virgil Mayo, Benjamin Mayo, Anny May Lee and Lillie Kane. Shirley is survived by her children Thomas (Pamela) Corathers, Dale (Rebecca) Corathers, Teresa Corathers, Sara-Sally (Missy Villers) Corathers, step-son Edward (Lisa) Lee and  step-daughter Terri (Donald) Riffee, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, her brother James Mayo, brothers-in-law Dale (Sharon) Corathers and David Delin, and sisters-in-law Geneva Mullins, Jean Lee and Charlene Lee. Per her request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be 2 PM  Saturday March 29, 2025  at the Portage Community Chapel in Ravenna, Ohio with visitation from 1Pm until 2 PM.  The family would like to thank very close and special friends Frank and Valerie and all God's angels on earth who have helped her.
