Shirley A. Grinder 69 of Shalersville passed away at her home Tuesday, April 12, 2011. She was born October 2, 1941 in Export, PA to the late Joseph and Ruth (Mapstone) McNeal. Shirley retired as a waitress, and was a member of the Mantua Hogs Motorcycle Club. She also enjoyed making scarves for the homeless, reading and working on word puzzles. Survivors include her loving husband, Rolland R. Grinder whom she married August 26, 1960, daughters, Roxanne (Jerry) Plonski of Garfield Heights, Theresa (Kenneth) Cecil of Akron, Nadine (Raymond) Kestranek
of Freedom, son, Joseph Grinder of New York, NY, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers, Dave, Ron, and Andy McNeal. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Adaline Tessler, brothers, Bill, Francis, and Frank McNeal. Calling Hours will be held from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2011 Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery Shalersville, Ohio.
