Shirley V. (Turner) Kerns

Shirley V. Kerns 84 of Ravenna passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at UH Portage Medical Center. She was born July 10, 1936 in Garrett County, MD to Gilbert and Virginia (Harvey) Turner. Shirley had worked at Delta Systems in Streetsboro for 10 years. One of her biggest joys was spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her daughter Crystal Davies, grandchildren Brandon and Joshua Gardner and Logan Davies, great grandson Elijha Gardner and siblings Leona Tasker, Betty Sims, Roscoe Turner and Robert Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jack Kerns. A private family graveside service will be held. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or any veterans organization.
