Shirley (Mullins) Whitted

Shirley Whitted, 85 of Rootstown, passed away Monday April 27, 2020 at Altarcare of Alliance.  She was born on March 31, 1935 in Tallmadge, Ohio to the late Elmo and Murial  (Smith) Mullins.  Being a lifelong Portage county resident, Shirley retired from NEOUCOM  on March 31, 1995 and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ravenna.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Whitted on March 12, 1997 and her daughters Vicki  L. Reed. Diane Lubelski and Rhonda Mills.  She is survived by her sons Matthew (Karyn) Whitted, Roger (Tammi) Whitted, seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter.  In honoring her request, cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday May 2, 2020 at the Shorts Spicer Crislip  Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel.  Inurnment will follow in Homeland Cemetery Rootstown, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Shirley may be shared with her family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
