Stanley B Hillis

Stanley B. Hillis, 73 of Paris Twp passed away on Thursday September 24, 2020 following a short battle with cancer.  On June 8, 1947 he was born in Warren, Ohio to the late Kermit and Geneva (Wyatt) Hillis.  Mr. Hillis has lived in Paris Twp since 1986 and was formerly of Ravenna, Ohio.  He had retired from THEM of Ohio where he worked as a warehouse manager.  He also enjoyed retirement by being a bus driver for Parta, was an avid bowler and loved tinkering with all things around the house.  Mr. Hillis was a US Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.  He was a member of the Newton Falls VFW and Am vets.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded his wife Barbara A. Hillis on December 29, 2019 and his siblings Blaine Hillis, Lyle Hillis, Ray Hillis and Donnie Hillis.  Survivors include his daughters Stefanie (Jeffrey) Aten of Streetsboro, Tracie (Rick Bakken) Myers of Brookpark, Trisha Hillis of Ravenna, his grandchildren Alex, Ali, Derek, Jarrett, Cali, David Hunter, Jessie, Josh,  Aaron, Emma and his siblings Paul (Carolyn) Hillis of Texas, Joyce Head of Ohio and Keith Hillis of Ohio.  In honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Stanley's life will be held Saturday October 3, 2020 from 2-5 PM at the Newton Falls VFW 433 Arlington Rd. Newton Falls, Ohio 44444.  His final resting place will be with his wife Barbara in the Ohio Western Reserve Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio.  Condolences and memories of Stanley may be shared with his family at www.sscfuneralhomes.com.
