Stella Sindelar 87 of Southport, NC, formerly of Shalersville, died Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was born August 9, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sammual and Frances (Chomej) Harbie. Stella had worked at Morris Control as an assembler. Survivors include her daughters Cynthia Taylor of VA and Sheila Nemec of NC, sons Joseph H. Jr. of Streetsboro and Russell J. of Mantua, sisters Mary Cieslak, Katherine Fabin and brother Edward Harbie, 16 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Sindelar, Sr., sisters Ann Kowalski, Sophie Wisner and Rose Adaska, brothers Joseph, John and Sammual Harbie, and daughter Gail Hunter of FL. Memorial calling hours will be from 1:00 pm until time of memorial service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Streetsboro Chapel with Michel Heroux officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Shalersville.
