Stephen Dean Cheuvront

Stephen “Steve” Cheuvront, 54 years young, passed away peacefully in the early hours of the morning on July 14, 2026.

Born on May 14, 1972, in Cadiz, Ohio, Steve lived a life defined by kindness, strength, an unforgettable sense of humor, and a heart that was always willing to help others. He worked as a truck driver, a career he truly loved, finding peace and purpose on the open road. Whether he was behind the wheel of his truck or spending time with the people he loved, Steve embraced every day with gratitude and a smile.

Steve had many passions and talents. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He was incredibly gifted with his hands, creating beautiful woodworking pieces, making leather jewelry, and working on vehicles. If something needed repaired, built, or improved, Steve was always tinkering on a new project. He truly enjoyed staying busy and took pride in everything he created.

Family was the center of Steve’s world. Some of his children’s favorite memories are of him playing with them, riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes, spending days on Jet Skis, and filling every adventure with laughter. He had a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went and could always make people laugh, even during life’s most difficult moments.

Steve was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar to make sure you had what you needed. His compassion, selflessness, and generous spirit touched countless lives. Above all, he cherished his faith and found strength and peace through his love for God, which guided the way he lived and cared for others.

Steve is lovingly survived by his wife, Tara Cheuvront; his children, Samantha Jarvis, Courtney Cheuvront, and Colton Cheuvront; his son-in-law, Kenneth Jarvis II; his daughter-in-law, Olivia DiFranco; and his cherished grandchildren, Kylie Duncan, Brianna Hadsell, Kaidence Duncan, Mason Hadsell, Khabri Smith, Willow Whiteley, Greyson Cheuvront, and Kenzie Jarvis.

Though deeply missed, Steve’s love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories, lessons, and unconditional love that will never be forgotten. While our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort knowing his faith has brought him home, where he is at peace. His memory will forever be a source of strength, inspiration, and countless smiles for all who were blessed to know him.
