Susan A. Phelps, age 73, passed away on February 28, 2013 in the loving care of her family and a boxer pup named Buca. Susan was born in 1940 in Cleveland, a daughter of the late, Charles and Helen (Guzik) Fekete. She moved to Streetsboro in 1967, was a longtime parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church and retired from Hunter Manufacturing . She was also a hostess for Laurel Lake . She is survived by her children, Sheila (Michael) Hicks, Dianna (David) Graehling and Richard (Julie) Phelps,; her nine grandchildren; brothers, Charles and John Fekete; and sisters, Rose Fekete and Mary Pickett. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Lorenz. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7-9 PM at the Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Home, Streetsboro Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Joan of Arc in Streetsboro, Interment will following Evergreen Cemetery.
